The PITA Executive Committee is sorry to announce that Betty Phipps has chosen to resign from her position on our board. Betty has been an invaluable board member, providing logical, experienced, measured opinions, endless hours of work on bylaws, rules, dinners, events, and trophies, and most importantly, being our “Godmother of the PITA.” She has served on this board for several years and will be greatly missed. When you see her around at a shoot, please take the time to thank her for her service.
Per the PITA bylaws, the Executive Committee must now appoint her replacement. If you or someone you know is interested in joining our board, please complete this form and send it to kay@shootpita.com. We will accept Interest Forms until November 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT.
All Interest Forms will then be reviewed by the current executive committee. Depending on the interest in the position, we may conduct interviews, or we may just choose a candidate from those who apply.
