Bellingham Trap and Skeet hosted its Spring Buckle Shoot on Sunday, April 19, 2015 for close to 50 shooters from around the Pacific Northwest. Not everybody shot as well as they had hoped but it turned out to be a fun event just the same. Though weather often makes an April day uncomfortable in Bellingham we lucked out this year with ideal conditions. Plenty of good shooting was on display but Sean Miller, the young phenom from Kenmore, walked away with the HOA. Bellingham’s own Herb Lehfeldt and Fred Coates won buckles in their class and Herb also won distinction for being the oldest shooter on the field. Congratulations to all shooters who participated and contributed to the success of this event. We invite you all to our next PITA shoot, September 13th.
