The CO State Shoot boiled down to cousin against cousin, husband against wife! The question arose, “When two are tied (high score) in a championship event and they want to share the glory – can they?” Yes – PITA has no requirement that ties be shot off. Page 15 of the Rulebook “Ties” allows any mutually agreed method. All the Championship events and High Over All ended with relatives tied. So in the spirit of sportsmanship they all chose to share the titles. See the Co-Champions and all the results CLICK HERE.
Pawnee’s youngest shooter, Ben Keller, age 10 took home his 1st State Shoot trophies – 4 total.
