The PITA
Hawaii State Shoot will be held February 14 through
17, 2014 at the Hilo Trap and Skeet Range.
The range will be open for practice and
registration Friday the 14th at 8:00 a.m.
The Hawaii State Shoot will be limited to the
first 65 competitors to pay their registration fees.
Registration forms and fees should be mailed
to: Andy Hallingstad address at bottom of page, made
out to HPITA (Hawaii Pacific International
Trapshooting Association).
Grant Lau has graciously, volunteered to
spearhead a Mini HAA tournament on Friday.
This is a 150 bird event he calls the “ Aloha
Kim Chee Special” it will consist of 50 sgl, 50 hdcp
and 25 pr dbl.
It was a great success last year and a lot of
fun for $40.00. Following will be our HPITA 10th
Anniversary Handicap; a 50 bird event with some
great Hawaiian unique prizes for $25.00.
Shells for the shoot can be preordered (recommended)
in advance; contact Andy @

The preordered shells will be available for
pick up on Friday morning.

shotguns daily to and from the range.

A
total of 750 registered targets which can be cross
registered with ATA, plus the 150 non-registered
Aloha Kim Chee Special on Friday.
An official program will be mailed to each
shooter registered for the 2014 HPITA.
Shoot program will be mailed in September
2013.
This year’s awards banquet will be Hawaiian
casual dress and held the evening of Sunday February
16th at a time and location to be
announced. We
will also be having our very popular Friday Potluck
dinner at the small pavilion at the Wailoa Park;
please try to attend we will be handing out the
prizes for the first two events and it should be
loads of fun.
Hilo Hawaiian has given us a special group
rate of $107.00 plus tax per night.
