** Old Skagit Gun Club is great at celebrating milestones and Rudy Martinak’s milestone was no exception.

Rudy celebrated shooting his 150,000 target at Old Skagit, the same place he shot his 50,000 and 100,000.  Also unique and memorable is Rudy shot each one of the fore mentioned milestones with the same squad; Bob White, Jerry Broten, Bill Roseboom, Brian fooks and Rudy, each wearing a commemorative Rudy Martinak 150,000 target hat.

Old Skagit Gun Club presented Rudy with a jacket, belt buckle, P.I.T.A. 150,000 pin and certificate, as well as an amazing cake for everyone to enjoy.  Regardless of the less than desirable weather (high winds and rain) Rudy and everyone who was there to help him celebrate had a great weekend.

Can’t wait for the 200,000 target, CONGRATULATIONS RUDY!!!!!!

The results of the 2016 Hawaii State Shoot are in with a record participation by Hawaii shooters – 37 of the 60 shooters in the Championship Singles were from the islands.  Credit goes to club President Dexter and his fabulous crew.  Three 199/200 scores were posted with Nic Corbat of Maui winning the shoot off to become the 2016 Hawaii State Singles Champion.  Nic is eligible to compete at the Grand Pacific Champion of Champions competition in July at Evergreen Sportsmen’s Club.  The Hawaii Handicap Champion title goes to Jordan Hara of the Big Island and the Hawaii Doubles Champion is Dana Okazak of Hilo – congratulations to all.  See all the results.

Trevor Herb of Oregon shot his 1st 100 straight and a new squad joins the ‘125 Club‘.

Grant Lau of WA sums it up best when he says, “The Hilo PITA Shoot is like a potato chip; there’s no such thing as just one.”
