2022 Grand Pacific Raffle Tickets Are On SALE

Tickets may be purchased from any Executive Committee member or you may call Kay Klundt at 208-312-0314 to purchase tickets.
Drawing will be held on Saturday, July 30th at noon. Need not be present to win.

April 2022 Winter Multiplex

Multiplex results are posted for April on the RESULTS page.  Thank you shooters for your participation and a huge shout out to all those volunteers running these events – rain, shine and snow!

  • Four shooters shot 49/50 in handicap earning 1/2 yard.
  • 303 shooters participated at 33 clubs.
  • 39,950 targets thrown plus 1,300 sub-gauge singles targets.
  • Broden Pirkle shooting at Fallon was High Over All with 146/150 (S-49, H-49, D-48).

 

2021 Yearbook Corrections

  • All-Star Photos: Tom Olesen (WA) made the Veteran Team the picture is of Tom Olsen (OR) that has been fixed. Broden Pirkle made the Sub-Junior team the picture was Matt Ernst. You can see the picture corrections on the All-Star Page.
  • OR Directors page Sue Brewer’s phone number was listed incorrectly 541-258-8766
  • Records: Bob Robertson has the record for consecutive doubles shot. 517 June 2019.
  • The HOA Teams were figured incorrectly. We have corrected it. The correction is below. This will be posted in the 2022 Yearbook.

MESSAGE FROM EVERGREEN SPORTSMEN’S CLUB

Vendor Sites

As per the contract with PITA, vendor sites are free. Vendors need to register by emailing Dan Solie – President at shootevergreen@gmail.com, and let us know what you are vending and how big of space you require. These spaces will not have any utilities available. All vendors need to register by July 1st for space planning purposes.

 

RV Reservations

RV Space reservations open on April 12th at 8:00 am on https://www.campspot.com/book/shootevergreen.

 

For returning shooters, you have the ability to reserve the same space(s) you had last year by emailing shootevergreen@gmail.com and letting them know what your arrival and departure dates are. ESC will then email you a reservation booking that must be completed to lock-in your space. For those who want to explore other sites, that can be done when registration opens on April 12th at 8:00 am on a first come first served basis.

 

Golf Carts

Prices have gone up considerably, and ESC is providing these at cost. The carts need to be added at the time you make your RV reservation.

2 Passenger = $60/day

4 Passenger = $81/day

6 Passenger = $162/day

Congratulations 2022 Hall Of Fame Inductees!

The PITA Hall of Fame committee has announced the 2022 nominees for induction into the Hall of Fame.

Leland, “Billy” Myers for his service to his local club, Eel River , the California state association, and 25 years  as
a member of the PITA executive committee, holding every office, sometimes more than once, as well as being
a rather good shooter to boot. Over 250,000 targets and counting, his dedication to the PITA cannot be overstated.
Welcome “Billy”.
 

Ron Alcoriza of Calif, holder of two Grand Pacific doubles titles, as well as 5 all-star teams, and over
40 Calif. state wins, over 40 years, and respected by his peers. Almost 150,000 targets and counting, Ron is
considered as a friend and good competitor both on and off the line.  Welcome Ron to the Hall of Fame.

Did you know?

      • Fifty-four of the 55 spots were filled.
      • Nineteen All Stars shot over 10,000 targets each in 2021
      • Seventeen were standing at the 27 yard line at the end of 2021- eleven of the men’s teams, one of the ladies, one of the elders, two of the seniors, two of the veterans and two of the juniors.
      • Fifteen made the team for the 1st time!
      • Youngest on team – 9 years old Mitchell Dagher- oldest Art Fenton, 80 years young
