The YES program is raffling a Browning BT99 to raise funds for the scholarship fund. Tickets are $10 each. Only 250 tickets will be sold for each. The drawing will be at the Grand Pacific.

Come shoot for over $31,000.00 in trophies at the 2015 Grand Pacific

The Grand is noted for unique and creative trophies and this year is no exception. We have custom cleaning kits and custom clocks made by fellow shooters (these are awesome), premium ammo for the Preliminary HOA, Nikon binoculars, custom awards by Tilden Trophies. Championship Singles awards are Shamrock Leather bags from their custom shop, hand tooled basket weave and pine cone patterns. For the Browning Championship Handicap there are custom made buckles by Gist Silversmiths, these are one of a kind and beautiful. Gist custom buckles for HOA, runner up through categories. HAA Trophies are Americase Combo UltraLite cases.

For the lucky shooters who win High Over All, Singles Champion, Doubles Champion or Handicap Champion, they will receive a $10.00 US gold coin (Gold Single Eagle valued at $675.00) a ½ oz. of gold but more important a part of American history.

Saturday June 6th there will be a reception at the Sedro Woolley Community Center to celebrate Ed Poor’s 100th birthday. Ed was a very well known trapshooter for many years in Western Washington. This “No Gift” reception will be from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. The Mason Valley Gun Club in Yerington, Nevada, was the proud sponsor of the 2015 Nevada PITA State Shoot. Despite an occasional sprinkle of rain, six trap fields were put to use by the bumper crowd of outstanding shooters. Scores like Rich Bullard’s 200 in the Championship Singles, Jimmy Heller’s 100 in the Championship Doubles were just two of the many notables (view results here). This is the first time in memory for Mason Valley to host the State Shoot and by all accounts they did an outstanding job. Well, maybe it was more than an occasional sprinkle but the lake in the parking lot was fairly shallow most of the time. The new Camero option giveaway had no winners – the car returns to the dealership today. Congratulations to Mason Valley and NSPITA boards and volunteers!

The Canby Gun Club hosted a two day PITA shoot with the Oregon Doubles Classic Friday, May 8th and a 400 bird program Saturday (click here to view). The prizes included the buckles shown above along with $1,000 added money.

Durland Fischer (Hillsboro), Ryan Costanti (Medford), Mike Riggs (Eagle Creek), Doug Reimers (Allyn,WA) and Mike Healy (Roseburg) were the first squad of shooters to the line Friday for the Oregon Doubles Classic. Four plus squads were soon to follow…

Presquad.com will open on June 1st (7:00 a.m.) – CLOSES TUESDAY, JULY 14TH – 3:00 P.M.

If you are shooting all the events at the Grand (Sub-Gauge and Doubles events excluded) we will reserve your squad/post prior to the general opening of presquad.com on June 1^st. The $5.00 pre-squad fee applies. To start the process you will need to set up an account at www.presquad.com. This is very simple – just enter your email address and a password. You will receive an email from them with a link to activate your account. This will allow us to transfer the reservation to you.

Once you have been pre-squadded the reservation will be transferred to you. This will allow you to go to www.presquad.com and make changes to the reservation. If your yardage changes (reduction or earned yardage) be sure to correct it on your reservation. If the cashiers make squad changes for you there will be the additional $10 squad change fee as noted in the program (pg 16). NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED AT THE CASHIER WINDOW BEFORE THE 1^ST EVENT FOR WHICH YOU PRE-SQUADDED YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SQUAD/POSITION FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE PRE-SQUADDED EVENTS (see program pages 8 & 16).
